Inspection Systems and IfG collaborate on powder application

Inspection Systems and Grafix/IfG “ideas for glass” have come together to provide a turnkey solution which enables glass manufacturers to not only to apply and measure interleavant powder but to also self adjust to provide a closed loop system. IQ-EPS gives the customer confidence that the powder coverage is correct and consistent across the entire plate surface, and the non-contact real-time validation ensures there is no damage to the glass, an especially important consideration given the sensitivity of coatings now produced within the glass market.

AGC Sagunto invests in AG system

 

AGC installed an AG Inspection System to inspect both pinholes and staining on the silvered layer at their Sagunto plant in Spain.  The system was trialled by the plant for a 4 week period and the results exceeded their expectations, leading to full sign-off.

IQ Online system first success within AGC Europe

 

The IQ Online system expands its installed base from NSG and Cardinal FG into AGC.  There is a push for tighter quality control on the amount of power applied to high value glass, and the IQ Online system enables AGC to monitor powder levels and react accordingly.

We are seeking a Visual C++/MFC programmer to strengthen our development team working on projects based mainly in the UK but with the potential to assist installation teams world-wide.
